Joseph Pearce, Death Comes for the War Poets: A Verse Tapestry

On the centenary of the U.S.’s entry into World War I, Joseph Pearce‘s Death Comes for the War Poets dramatizes the interplay between Siegfried Sassoon’s war experiences and his subsequent conversion to Catholicism.   Within the play, Doug Keck of EWTN Bookmark observes, are strains of the great poets of the 20th century:  T.S. Eliot,  G.K. Chesterton, Wilfred Owen, and Siegfried Sassoon.
