Father Benedict: The Spiritual and Intellectual Legacy of Pope Benedict XVI

“Your first book, but hopefully not your last,” Doug comments to James Day on Father Benedict: The Spiritual and Intellectual Legacy of Pope Benedict XVI. James, Operations Manager for EWTN’s West Coast Studio, entitled his study on the life and often misunderstood pontificate of Joseph Ratzinger, with the name that the Holy Father Emeritus felt most comfortable with : Father Benedict. At heart, Benedict XVI wanted to be known simply as a parish priest who loved to minister to his flock. And as a parish priest, Day’s book reflects Benedict’s goal, to prepare his global flock for the 21st century.
